I’m beyond thrilled to work with director Liz Garbus on this piece. Based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Robert Kolker, “Lost Girls” will star Amy Ryan as Mari Gilbert, the mother of a kidnapped girl… and guess who will be playing that kidnapped girl? Yours truly! Stay tuned for more info.

A Feature Film!

Captured: Zoey Martinson, Sarah Wisser, and John Bergdahl

Captured: Zoey Martinson, Sarah Wisser, and John Bergdahl

This August, I'm having the most amazing time bringing to life a Dark Comedy all encompassing the American Dream! I play a waitress at a struggling French bistro in NYC who just wants to make it on the B-WAY! I'm honored to bring to life Director Joe Lazenby's script, and thrilled to work with our Gaffer Joe Orlandi and DP Craig Calamis. I can't wait to see the magic of post-production bring this baby home!

Learning to kick butt!

Neutral Chaos.jpg

For the past two months, I have been spending my Sunday mornings with the incredible team at Neutral Chaos. After my 30 hours of training in Unarmed, I was eligible to test for proficiency with the Society of American Fight Directors. My scene partner and I developed and performed choreography in front of recognized Fight Master K. Jenny Jones--and I am officially certified! Which weapon should I pick up next?

The Prince of Soho!—A Reading

I had the extreme pleasure of being asked to be a part of filmmaker, director, and actor Jayce Bartok’s new screenplay, The Prince of Soho. It was an intimate night at ART Theater South Oxford Space with an amazing cast. The script was poetic, moving, and true. I’m looking forward to seeing the Prince of Soho’s journey! Thanks Vinyl Foote Productions.

This past weekend I finished starring in a short film written and directed by Sri Lankan-American filmmaker and editor Shaun Seneviratne. The film was shot in a cozy apartment in Brooklyn with a spectacular team on set. I'm ecstatic for Long Knives Drawn to be released in March of 2017.

Swinging into Mt Gretna, Pennsylvania!

This July, I finished playing Tarzan's Mother and dancing as an ensemble member in Pennsylvania's iconic Gretna Theatre's production of Disney's Tarzan the Musical! I worked fondly with director Thomas Coté and choreographer Judy Williams Henry as I brought to life the music and lyrics of Phil Collins. Until next time, Gretna Playhouse!

Sex, Booze, and Cabarets!

I just returned to NYC from Potsdam, NY where I had the pleasure of working with Donna Drake and Rhonda Miller as director and choreographer. The infamous duo guided me as I played Go-to-Hell Kitty in CHICAGO the Musical. The small cast quickly became tightly knit as we spent four weeks upstate. The town of Potsdam was thrilled to have NYC talent visiting their community at Potsdam Music Theatre and our cast received rave reviews.

Who's ready for the Campus Tour?

In Fall of 2014, I finished shooting a webseries called Campus Tour! Trembling Branch isn’t like other schools. Its grounds are impeccable, its classrooms state-of-the-art, and its students...a little more committed than the average high schooler. Follow prospective student Freddie as he meets the chefs, hackers, and botanists that make up the Trembling Branch student body--now, if someone could just tell him where the teachers are, and what's down that ominous stairway...

Click here to watch me portray the role of the young flustered Charlotte as I swoon over the new boy at school.

I am featured in episodes 2, 3, & 5!
